Tagged!

Becky from Beckykay Designs tagged me on Monday. Here are the rules:
1. You have to post these rules before you give the facts. 2. Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of their middle name. If you don't have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had. 3. At the end of your blog-post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag.
Ok, I have 8 letters in my middle name and 3 L's so bare with me! It's not a common name and often don't like to tell people what it is. My mother gave us all our first names and my dad picked the middle names so I got his mother's maiden name.

M: Martha's Vineyard- where I was born and currently live.
C: Cook- I love to cook and enjoy finding new and interesting recipes to try.
L: Loving- I'm a very loving and caring person. I care A LOT about my family and friends.
E: Engineer- I'm a Mechanical Engineer and get to design cool things that go in the ocean.
L: Level-headed- I'm very practical (most of the time) and my family and friends know they can count on me for anything.
L: Lunch- favorite place for lunch Pie In the Sky.
A: Auntie for 8 kiddos- 4 nieces & 4 nephews with one more on the way.
N: New England Patriots- favorite professional footbal team ... GO PATS!

Baby Shower Time

I am hosting a baby shower for my sister this coming weekend. Her first child was a boy, Will, who decided to enter this world 3 months early! He is now 4 years old and expecting a little sister in October. Since Will arrived early, we didn't have time to do a baby shower so I organized one this time around. I can't wait to show off some of the great ETSY products My first purcahse was this great baby onesie card set from Moderncard. Jess at moderncard is a pleasure to work with. She is super friendly, makes fabulous cards and is willing to do custom orders. My second purchase was from Rikrak, where I found the beautiful vintage quilted bibs. Again, very friendly service from rikrak. Another purchase I made was a 3-pack of baby onesies from Lemonsandlollis. I picked out this cupcake one to give to my sister. Corina was so sweet & friendly and even posted my shop on her blog. I bought a set of washcloth lollipops from Jkalea for a decorative display at the baby shower and then plan to give them to my sister and other expecting moms that will be there.

ETSY truly has some amazing products and everyday I find new sellers and new products I just love.
